[Very YMMV, Need Telus EPP] Stainless Steel Apple Watch Series 6 Cellular

Photos explains it. Looks like SS Cellular variants are $0 upfront with $30.88 access to PoMConnect plan...

I have not tried. Pls report back if successful.

$30.88 x 24 = $741.12
Plus $40 Connection fee.

So about 25% off on SS/Sportband version.
About 30% off on SS/Milanese version.

(Deleted idea of possibly returning to Apple, unopened for store credit. Reason: people say idea is Fraud)

Chill folks it was just an idea as passing it as a gift and returning untouched for store credit.

I saw this, not sure of details re: cellular connection or if the watch is worth the $780. Love to hear others' input

Mind providing some info on what company this is with? I tried on my Telus EPP portal (big 5 bank) and was quoted $44/month for the same watch under the POM Connect plan as well.

I love my series 5. Complements the iphone really well. Some common features i use are alarm, change volume, siri, workout, ecg. I always wish to have cellular so i can leave my phone when out for runs...

I have tried a bunch of 3rd party bands and nothing compares with the apple quality. The 5 at the time was around $500, cellular plus the milanese seem to be worth the $280 for me but not more... paying installment for it would be great too lol.

Yeah. Stuff that was bought at that store.

Not stuff that was bought at a completely different store for a cheaper price that you’re gonna try to pass off as bought for MSRP.

I did - which is why i was asking because im still being quoted $44. Oddly enough I called into the EPP number and they are now quoting me the same $30.88 monthly plan you have there, but they dont know how to get me to the same site to take advantage of this.

Wouldn’t this require you to have a Peace of Mind plan in the first place?

So the plan itself is $75 / 20GB promotional rate, then you add the $30.88 monthly
It seems like a whole lot of hassle if you’re not already on Telus
I probably didn’t need it but bought it anyway

Just so I understand. The OP wanted to commit fraud, asked other RFD'ers how to commit fraud, told what he was doing was fraud, then he erased it saying he was trying to commit fraud. Man I love RFD!!!

I think this is just a bug in their web ordering system.

Even without EPP account, go select a smart watch. First choose an ALUMINUM one, walk through the steps until you get to step 4, then scroll back to the top and change it to one of the stainless steel options and continue with the remaking steps and the price doesn’t change to reflect that it’s stainless steel up to the point in the OPs screen shot. But once you click add to cart, the real price is calculated.

Unless it really is different on an EPP account

Its letting me place the order at end screen $30.88/month on my POC plan with $40 connection fees. The Page doesn't say the total amount of watch anywhere and not saying anything to pay for taxes upfront, that it should. Its definitely a glitch on their site and chances are high the order will go through or they will honor the price. I am not sure if I want to place the order yet, but looks like a good deal.

Update - I had to call in to order the watch as the website wouldnt reflect the $30.88 monthly charged. Purchased the gold stainless steel w/ milanese loop, 44mm. The rep confirmed that its a one time $40 connection fee (bullshit in my opinion), and 24 months of $30.88+tax, where I keep the watch after 24 months so its not a bring it back promo.

They are backlogged so I wont receive the watch until the first week of December, but for ~30% off a brand new Apple Watch series 6, thats a fantastic deal. FYI, this had to be done through EPP, and I work for a big 5 bank.

Have you gotten the actual contract yet? Do you know if they've given you a device discount on top of whatever the financing is to get it to that price? If it's just 30.88+tax as a finance charge, then it's a great deal. If they've snuck in a device discount that they'll charge you back for, then it's really only great if you plan on sticking around for the full two years.

I haven’t received a contract other than confirmation from 3 separate reps that it is in fact $30.88 for 24 months at which point the 25th month will remove the $30.88 monthly fee.
