Vespa scooter purchase

I purchased a Vespa scooter which retails for 4000 but have not yet picked it up. Two weeks later the same shop has a sale. A higher end Vespa that retailed for 5700 is now on sale at 4000. How can I negotiate an exchange?

You can't...the dealership will hold you to the original contract since it's a binding agreement. If you threaten not to pick the vehicle up the dealer will attempt to keep the deposit or their "liquidated damages" due to the cancellation.

Vespa's are a scourge on humanity. Shame on you for buying one. I hope your eardrums burst.
