Video creation software?

Every 3 years I make a video for my kids of the last 3 years of their life. I used to use Windows movie Maker to do this but it turns out that Microsoft doesn't support it anymore (and hasnt for just under 3 years) and I need a replacement as I'm on a new computer.

Suggestions? I really liked the old one cause it was super easy to use.

Movie Maker was officially discontinued on January 10, 2017 and it is replaced by Video Editor (formerly Microsoft Story Remix) which is built in with Microsoft Photos on Windows 10.

Sadly you just missed the free giveaway of ACDSee Video Studio 3, a nice simple video editor.

But you could still try Hitfilm Express, also free, lots of cool features, still easy to use though a bit more complicated.

iMovie on an iPad. Check out Animoto also, it might do what you need it to do.

Taken out of context. Let me rephrase to make it clearer for you:

Hitfilm Express is a bit more complicated than ACDSee Video Studio 3, but still easy to use compared to many more complex video editors.
