So videotron had alot of +2 GB for their plans, but today they added +2GB to the base 2 GB

Which means that you have 4GB for 44$ BYOD

But if you have 4 lines in your account each lines get -15$ so you can get 2+2 for 29$ + taxes

For those who forgot the multiline rebates

it's -5$ per line if you have 2 lines
-10 $ per line for 3 lines
-15$ per line for 4 + lines

I currently have 4 lines with them already, at original price of 64.95$ per line for 6gb.

BYOD and -15$ per line brings this down to about 35$ per line.

I also have 2 text and call lines for free (student promo)

Do you think I can call Videotron and have them downgrade 2 of my lines to get the 4gb for 29$ ?

What network is this on ? Seems to suggest that pretty much anything outside of "Quebec" is roaming.

For the free 2 lines you need to have at least 2 lines at 64.95$ and for the -15$ per line you need at least 4 lines at 44$ +

So if you have atm 4 lines at 64.95 and bring 2 of them at the 29$ you<ll be fine and you should be able to keep the 2 free lines (since you still have 2 lines at 64.95)

Outside of Quebec they mostly roam Rogers and Telus, but they will cut your service if you roam for 3 month straight (iirc) like full time roaming

Ya for MMS only, which is not that big of a deal

That's not true. Videotron covers all of Ottawa. Home coverage goes south almost to Kempville.

VIdeotron is partnered with Rogers and Telus if I remember correctly. You will NOT be cut off, but you can't be using only partners network away from QC for more than 3 billing periods or they can limit your usage. If you do do 1-2 months trip at a time and come back to Videotron main network, you should be fine.

Take a look at http://support.videotron.com/residentia ... er-network for more info.

P.S. : it's Videotron PARTNER 2 that can potentially limit your usage, PARTNER 2 is partner networks outside of QC.

I just contacted Videotron chat, if you currently have 4x 64.95 6gb plans (or 67.95$ 6gb premium plans), you can switch to 4gb plan for 29$ and keep all your rebates !
