specs with 8gb ram should be banned in RFD.

If you just want a laptop for web browsing, check email and watch Netflix, there are cheaper ones out there.

8GB(soldered) is fine for the average person with basic usage and will be for years to come, the average consumer isnt opening up their devices to upgrade RAM much less playing games or anything semi-intensive. That SSD makes more of a usability difference now. shame it's a 5300u instead of a 5425u.
i say this device is only "alright" due to the screen seeming pretty bad, unless you're able to finesse your way into getting the higher quality 2.2k panelEyes

It does have an extra DIMM slot so atleast you can add more Memory along with the 8GB soldered ram
