Same deal as what Fido is offering.

Looks like only Virgin Corporate stores are offering this deal, so might not get it at 3rd party stores like Best Buy or Costco (called Costco and they don't have either Virgin or Fido deal)

Included:
$50 for 10 GB data BYOD - unlimited talk text
1000 minutes per month to select countries
$50 activation fee refunded on the 1st or second bill
-$10/month for 24 months
-$5/month for 24 months if adding a line
Update:
-$5/month for 12 months for first and subsequent lines

I got it at Scarborough Town Centre location, but others have reported getting it elsewhere as well. I was able to call them beforehand and they shared it no problem, so I don't see why other locations wouldn't tell if they are offering or not.

On a separate note, Virgin offers 25 GB for $45 and $400 device credit as a winback offer if you switch to competitor (esp. Freedom), so I'll be taking my chances 3 months from now (minimum time required to be eligible for winback is 90 days) when there should be Black Friday discounts.

I've been with VM for 4 months now on a BYOD plan. Do I need to fully switch to a competitor or just initiate a port out and VM will offer the 45$ 25GB plan?

Have to be fully switched. Not like Koodo, virgin mobile doesn’t require you to call them for port out. It typically takes less 30 mins to fully switched.

So if my wife and I switch to Virgin for this deal. Do we both get $35 a month or is it $40 and $35?

For the win back offer which company is the best? Telus, Fido, or Virgin? I am assuming Telus is better if they offer 5g.

All these BTS deals lately have been tempting me to move off of my Public Mobile migration plan with Koodo. $35 for 5GB is kind of measly these days, but it's not like I even use anywhere near 5GB..
Nobody cares which companies you use/subscribe to on a monthly basis unless there is a deal to be had. Why advertise for them in your forum signature?

Telus if you're looking for 5G service. If you value unlimited international texting and 1000 LD minutes to select countries more, then Fido or Virgin. But remember that in order to get the $45 for 25GB, you have to port to Freedom (I don't believe they'll give you that offer for any other carrier).

Are you sure Fido offers the 1000 min?

you also have to wait for them (outbound rep) to call you to get that promo

you can't call in and get it

I am with Koodo right now so I won't get win back from Telus if I port to Fido/Virgin $40 10gb first?

Thanks for letting me know.
I am currently with Virgin for these minutes. I might move to Fido as Virgin coverage seems bad. I am in London now for work and often commute to Toronto. I loose signal at a few places. Previously I had Rogers and it used to be no problem.
I always thought Virgin being bell/Telus had better coverage
