[Virgin Mobile] ON 10GB Plan BYOP (Permanent) Dec 16th until Dec 19th

Unlike the offer today which was $55 for 3gb with a bonus 7gb for one year, the new plan has no bonus data, it is built-in.

NEW BYOP $60 - 10GB Plan
-This plan includes unlimited nation-wide minutes
-This plan is NOT stackable with the $10x 12 month credit
-The plan is permanent, once you have it, it will not change or expire in one year, two years, or three.

I work for Virgin Mobile so I can confirm this is starting tomorrow in store and will last until store close on December 19th. Incentives to sign up with Virgin Mobile over Koodo is member benefits (including 2-1 tix at Cineplex) and unrestricted access to Bell's network.

EDIT: New Activations only. Also the add-a-line 10% discount will not stack with this plan as far as I know.

No price increases? Is grandfathering part of the T&C.of all Virgin Mobile plans?

The 3+7 plan was being offered to existing customers as well. A friend was able to switch to it. Why would this one be any different? Does Virgin really want to lose existing customers to Koodo?

We were not able to offer that in store but possibly through retentions. Although that will certainly be a YMMV situation.

Toronto/Plano/Atlant…
The new activations thing is no good.

I currently have 2 lines with VM,60$+65$ , 6+6GB, 10% off second line.

I cannot go to Koodo, as I have another line 48$ 5GB from SK Or MB, got it a long time ago.

I did not know VM roam sweet roam was only 100mb.

No, on my experience with Virgin from 2012-2017 August I only pay the same no increase at all.

POPI is the best solution to get the plan if you are OOC or able to pay the device balance.

Price not gonna go up??? I was told the same back then and they sent me an email saying that due to infrastructure upgrades, we need to increase your monthly fee by $5. Pffff I left to Fido and couldn’t be happier

I got this plan for $60 as an existing customer and not really much of a problem either.

Here is what the $60 10GB looks like at a glance for people who want to see what it includes:

Also, the 10% off additional line is stackable as I have another person on my account
Virgin Mobile $75 | 10GB Unl.| Unl. Canada Wide | Unlimited Text/Pic Msg | 75.00

Don't forget to hit the THANKS button if I've helped. Have a Great Day!
