[Virgin Mobile] $50 / 8GB - BYOD Plan - Eglinton Square mall

I was at Eglinton Square Mall today, the Virgin Mobile kiosk there has a plan for $50 / 8GB, unlimited talk and text BYOD plan. See attached picture.

Just called the Richmond Centre location in BC they have it as well. Its actually the $60 500min 8gb byod plan with $10 off for first 12 months. Rep told me it's only for specific locations not all store has it.
Koodo $50.00 8gb S9+
Virgin Mobile $40 6gb S8+
Public Mobile $38 5gb iPhone 8+

Yorkdale has the same deal just called & for $5 extra you get unlimited calling. $50 has everything BUT! With calling minutes n free after 5pm/weekn

Yes forgot to mention for one year

Since this not on contract plan you can always find a better deal & switch over to that deal before 12 months are up

Just called the store . The guy said it’s for new customers only, and if i cancel my account and get a new sim I will lose my number

You don't need to if you are going to do it, you can transfer your number to another prepaid provider and transfer back, the moment you transfer out it will cancel the account , that said I honestly don't see this deal as a hot deal, you can get the 10 GIGS from Koodo for $60 and ask them to put 10% on your account for 1 year which will bring it down to $54, if you can wait until they bring this plan back, usually they bring them back on big events like Canada Day.
