For those who cannot make it to the store or want to avoid the line up, you can use online chat now to get BYOD $25/20GB for 15 months. Agent advised it is online-only deal.

It's the same $55/20GB BYOD plan that has been going around, but now they are offering even more credits, bringing it down to $25 for 15 months with the benefit of being on your couch where you don't have to physically go line up at the store anymore.

So far I am hearing YMMV. I got this deal in Ontario. I do agree with one of the members about some reps being rookies...keep trying since we can just do this at home. It may also be a very new update that reps need to get educated.

I was able to get the same (although I didn't take it because Fido retentions agreed to match it).
This is the cut and paste from chat. Hope it helps others. It's the $55 20GB plan on their website.

First 3 phone lines will get $30 off - 15 months Second and Third line will get additional $5 off -24 months First Line - $25/mo ,20GB Data, Second Month free Second and third line - $20/mo, 20GB Data
Yes, You will be charged an activation fee of $50 per phone line on your first month bill. The same will be returned to you as a credit in your bill in the second or third month.

This is Virgin's $55/20GB plan... so after 15 months, the price goes to $55. But for 15 months, there is a $30 credit on line 1 and $35 on line 2,3,4.

Asked for a price match. The transferred me to retention.
I read retention guy what I had posted above (from virgin chat). Fido took the $50/20GB price and applied a 20 plus a 5 credit for 15 months on my existing line (Last week they had $15 credit only -- they changed it to 20+5).
Then he set up 2 temp numbers which will have a $15+15 = $30 credit for 24 months Once they send my sim cards, I port in my other 2 numbers. $25 for line 1 for 15 months (then 50), and $20 for line 2,3 for 24 months (then $50).

Chat is from Virgin. But I read that to Fido retention and they matched it.

Keep trying, but so far I'm 0/2 and the second one was truly brain dead. Kept trying to hook me up on a $50 plan for 20 GB.

How did you get a hold of Fido retentions? Is there a number? I’ve been on hold for over an hour. I just switched to Fido in October - looking to get this plan.
