Virgin Mobile BYOP double data - Unlimited calling + 2GB data ($60) (also on Koodo)

Deal Link:
Virgin Mobile have a promotion on their $45 and $60 BYOP plan with unlimited calling where data is doubled to 1GB and 2GB respectively. I was interested in the $60 plan and called Koodo - the lady said they also have the same price and plan, only it hasn't been published to their website yet. I went with Koodo.

60 bucks for a measly 2GB?! I pay 34$ for the same thing on Koodo.

Albeit that was a boxing day special but still not worth 60$ per month!

Your plan isn't guaranteed. Virgin has a history of jacking up the price of your plan if it's BYOD. Go koodo instead.

No surprise since Virgin=Bell.

Koodo (Telus) is better to deal with than either bell or Rogers.

Agree, these prices are pretty lousy. The 2gb for $34 is reasonably, hopefully the deal will happen again.

H'wut?

I just switched to Virgin as a second line BYOP - $70 for 3gb plus 10% discount = $63 per month.

I couldn't find a better anywhere else including Fido.

if you decide to go with Koodo, they recently extended their Refer-a-Friend offer until May 31: both the referrer and the referree get $50 to be used as a bill credit if you sign up using their code.

When everyone was offering 2GB for 34$ during black friday I decided to go with virgin... less than 6 months later they jack the price up by 5$. So I would say take one of the other brands.

I have this and got upgraded to the 1gb bonus 2 months later when it was offered even though I wasn't a new customer. No price increase yet on all 3 of my lines.
