Virgin Mobile Phones

So, I was offered a great winback from Virgin Mobile today, to pull me back after 2 weeks with Zoomer.

As part of the winback, which is a BYOP plan ($37/month, 5GB, unlimited minutes + $50 account credit), I've been given 1 week to accept a 2 year contract and receive $400 of device credit that can be applied over and above any current promotions. $1/month is the lowest they'll go, though.

What that means is:
- The currently discounted LG G8X ThinQ drops to $1/month for 2 years. That's $24 for the phone.
- The new TCL Pro becomes $10/month for 2 years, and includes a 43" TCL 4-series Roku TV
- Samsung Galaxy A71 becomes $10/month for 2 years

etc, etc. Basically, knocking $16/month off any of their 24 month phones terms.

I'm leaning towards the LG G8X to replace my Samsung S8, purchased new in April 2018. It currently has a cracked screen.

The TCL Pro is intriguing too, because we need a TV and 43" is the size we want, but I think that's a throw-away TV anyway and the TCL hasn't been receiving great reviews.

I opted for the S10 at $13.33/month +tax for 24 months, effectively making it $320+tax for the S10.

Locked in for 24 months to Virgin. $37/month for 5GB and unlimited talk/text.
