They do not activate eSIM right off the bat. Swapping to eSIM is easy and you can do it on your own via myaccount and it it is free as well.spoonloads wrote: ↑ Does anyone know if Virgin can activate eSIM right off the bat? Or do I need to get a physical SIM card and then swap it over to eSIM later?

I feel like they need to give a better deal to lucky mobile customers cuz I already have $40 for 7gb with lucky now and $50 for 10gb is available for any new customer.

Wasted my time today, they only give you basic phones to go with the plan or else only the $50 plan can get you a decent phone with 24 months contract.

Do you have to be tied to a 2-year contract to get this deal when migrating? TIADelhiboyin wrote: ↑ Check the link and call on that no. You will get all the offer mentioned on customer care

I was a Public Mobile customer, when I got to know this deal, I bought a Lucky SIM card and port my number from Public to Lucky, then I applied this Virgin plan and got approved. All these steps were done within one day.
Although Virgin contacted me after transferring that I have to choose another plan because I have not been using Lucky for at least one month, I was insisted no criteria indicated on their web page and I didn't know that. I realized I was lucky enough finally I got this deal, but I don't recommend you guys to do so.

Supposedly this deal ends March 31st (at least according to the text I was sent by Lucky Mobile).
I ported over yesterday in a Virgin store. It took forever for them to apply the 1000 mins of LD because they had to call in to have the long distance restriction removed from my account, but eventually it got done.
$30 for 4GB LTE and unlimited Canada wide talk & text + 1000 LD mins to select countries is a great deal. Hopefully it stays at this price in the future.

Is there any data overage?Delhiboyin wrote: ↑ Port from Lucky mobile prepaid to Virgin mobile postpaid
If you are a lucky mobile prepaid user then its a great chance to port to postpaid with reasonable plan:-
For 30$ you will get:-
4gb data
1000 intl minutes (to India ,Honkong, Australia etc.)
unlimited Canada wide calling (ymmv)
unlimited international and U.S. texting.
$100 of any phone if I decided to take one.
(As slater22 mentioned in post -Ymmv)
Free sim
Activation charges waived off
For intl minutes and 45$ activation fees waived off I have to call the cc and the agent was happy to provide me this offer....
They have other plans also like 40$ 7gb and 50$ 10gb
But i think 30$ 4gb with intl mins is gr8 as previously it was 2gb and when I checked today it was increased to 4 gb.
Currently I was on 35$ with 1.5 gb data and 500 mb automatic recharge bonus...
So ported to this plan as it's a gr8 value with 4 gb and 1000 mins...
As k for 1000 intl mins and 100$ credit for new phone before credit check...AS mentioned by slater22 post

I just got a Lucky sim card to try this out as a second line and for the lucky virgin transfer. See if the deal is still there in a month. If not there may be a better deal. There was a far better deal last year.
If I get it I'll transfer at Wallmart or Bestbuy for more $$$. If no luck will transfer number to voip.ms

If you signup to lucky before the end of the month, they have a bogo offer. Check their website for details. Pay for one month, second month free...
Anyone successful in going from Virgin to freedom mobile and getting a win back offer? If so, what did you get?
