I've been informed the Silver 75 plan which currently has 3GB of data will be getting bumped to 4GB as of tomorrow. Thought I would share.

yes - expensive....but would you rather pay the same amount for 3GB?

Also - with BYOD it goes down to approx $68 before tax.

FOA this is extremely cold and does not qualify as a hot deal.

SOA this is not a valid argument to justify a good bargain. You are right you get more for the same amount but that more still isn't enough for same amount.

TOA you have posted something that has not happened yet nor did you post any reference. You might have the correct information, but if I was you and I was really convinced this was a good deal, I would post this tomorrow with the link to VM.

VM doesnt let you share data. They do not have share plans in general.

This plan update is being done to reflect Koodo's change to its $75 plan.

I just noticed Kodo has the same plan Unlimited Canada Wide Calling, Unlimited Int. Messaging, 4GB Data for $75.

Not sure if this is a really a deal, seems average.

What's the cheapest available plan when looking for lot's of data? Thinking minimum 3GB, and Wind is not a possibility (very bad signal in Stittsville, Ottawa).

I think it's safe to say that there isn't a single cell phone plan in Canada that would qualify as a "hot deal".

If you get the Silver $60 plan, it currently has 2GB of data with each additional GB at $10. With BYOD it is $54, or $74 if you use up to 4GB... I like this better because there are lots of months I don't even use the 2GB but it's nice to know it is available at a reasonable rate should I happen to go over.
