[Virgin Mobile] Virgin 0$ down payment deal is not true

WARNING! THIS DEAL IS NOT VALID. The only reason I didn't delete the post is to help those also got trapped finding a solution.
Instead of $0 down, Virgin will charge you the upfront cost of several hundreds depending on the phone model you take.
I saw the charge in my first bill today and disputed with their resolution team. I was told there isn't anything they can do other than returning the phone.

$0 Down + $37.34/month + $50 for 9+1GB plan + $40 upgrade fee + tax for iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB
37.34*24=$896 for the phone plus an okay plan plus Virgin service.

Please add YMMV to the title, if it's not an advetised promo?

Sure, if you wanna pay retail price. But if you're a true rfder, then you would get this deal.

Wondering if you can get something similar from fido with their $39/$34 11GB plan. That would be lava hot!

Phone looks like a good price but too bad the plan isn't better. There are some pretty great deals on plans happening right now. $50/10GB is a lot compared to the $45/25GB or $34/11GB plans being tossed around right now.

Do you know if the 12 will have far better features ? Or is the 11 just as top notch ?

37.34*12=$896 for the phone plus an okay plan plus Virgin service. To me it seems to be a good deal although I know the 12 is coming in weeks. No sure if it's a loyalty promotion or available for everyone. Worth a try anyway.

The background:
-I've been with Virgin since 2016, currently on BYOD $40 6+1GB
-My phone was broken yesterday so talked to Virgin via web chat this morning and asked for a new iPhone 11 Pro for my wife, so I can finally own her three year old X.
-$308 is a standard discount for the phone. After the rep said my down payment could be waived, I realized maybe 11 pro max would be a smarter choice so I go with it.
-$1730 is the original price for the phone.
You sound so sad about getting your wife's 3 years old phone not the new iphone 11 pro max
