Awesome deal. Going with koodo. Stay away from fido if you dont want to deal with spam calls and msg every single day!

I don't see the credit on the check out cart window? Online chat claim they don't have the plan.

Got the plan anyways but I am pretty sure they just apply the discount on your monthly bill.

This is hot, cheaper than the Koodo deal as Virgin is faster speed, can get 2% off with CC payment, $25 more referral, and discount before tax.

Same experience. I was at Costco and requested to change my Virgin BYOD plan to this plan, but the rep said Virgin will not match. But he also didn't say I could sign up as new activation. I could port out, but I prefer Virgin as I believe Virgin is still LTE data.

Has anyone asked them to match Koodo's $0 Tab on Iphone 11?

Argh this upsets me. It's 2022 now and it's trivial to switch providers and keep your number yet your existing providers will still make you do it, only to call you days after you switch to offer you a better plan that they couldn't offer you when you were still a customer.
I wouldn't go back to a company that did that out of principle. Like you wasted my time and now that I left suddenly you found the deal I wanted. It's like quitting a company that claims they can't give you the raise you asked for but suddenly after you give two weeks notice they magically find more money.

Does Virgin still have the permanent $45/20GB plan, or is it 15 months only?

Checked my account today and it showed a special offer Loyalty BYOD $35-20GB. It looks like a permanent plan so I switched to it

Somebody asked earlier with no reply.
Would you on the bill get this 20 off before or after taxes?
They word it that your only paying 45 a month but I'm wondering, as someone else asked, do they do a simple credit of 20 at the end of bill or properly before so you are paying 45 plus tax.
Ps I've seen some people on Kijiji with referral codes do people get to a limit where their code won't work for me or does that only affect them if they have too many and for me and my wife as new to Virgin the codes will work regardless?
Thx in advance for any replies and help.

The plan is offered with a device, for the iphone 13 at least on the site. Oh right, you can only obtain this plan as a new activation and it is online only

I got this as existing this morning with the iPhone 13 for $20/month. They also waived the $50 fee by adding $50 credit to my account.
I was offered BYOP 40 yesterday on the app ($40/10gb) which I accepted but I canceled it when looking at other offers thinking I could add it back later… couldn’t. I called today to see if they could add it back and they volunteered the $45/50gb without me even negotiating.
Edit: actually $17.92/month ($430) for the iPhone 13.

has anyone signed up with Virgin before Friday successfully changed to this new $45/50gb plan?
