I'm a current Virgin customer and seen this on my app. Is this a good deal or should I go to retail like the Source or Best buy? Also, can't decide between iPhone 13 or samsung S22. If I'm not mistaken my total will be $55 for 50gb plan?

Feedback appreciated.

If you ever want option to use LTE watch, Virgin would be the choice.
Also, if you ever want the option to use esim, and don't want to pay $20, avoid Koodo. All the others charge $10 for esim. This only matters if you switch phones a lot like me.

$10/month for the iPhone (essentially $240) is a very hot deal. I thought the $430 I secured this morning was a deal.

what's the details here? Most are reporting $45 for plan + $20 for iPhone 13.

This is a good deal, people going to TMS or other third party sellers are getting $250 in points which works to about the same.

Could you please share more details on this? Was it in store? What was the GB capacity of the phone?

It was in-store in Burlington. $45 20GB plan. $360 credit was applied towards the downpayment by the store. $3 for the Phone. This was add a line so I got an extra $5 discount. Plus a charger worth $20.

Got the plan from the source square one.

If you go to square one go see my girl Janelle and she will hook you up.

Anyone still on contract has any luck getting this plan? I still have 5 months left on my contract. I’m willing to pay off the balance but don’t want to if virgin won’t budge.

I feel like virgin is better than Koodo since it’s no capped LTE and also the virgin benefits

life359 wrote: Argh this upsets me. It's 2022 now and it's trivial to switch providers and keep your number yet your existing providers will still make you do it, only to call you days after you switch to offer you a better plan that they couldn't offer you when you were still a customer.

I wouldn't go back to a company that did that out of principle. Like you wasted my time and now that I left suddenly you found the deal I wanted. It's like quitting a company that claims they can't give you the raise you asked for but suddenly after you give two weeks notice they magically find more money.
Rogido wrote: Same experience. I was at Costco and requested to change my Virgin BYOD plan to this plan, but the rep said Virgin will not match. But he also didn't say I could sign up as new activation. I could port out, but I prefer Virgin as I believe Virgin is still LTE data.

I visited the mall this morning and took advantage of the 20GB/$30/24 months deal from Koodo with the $50 activation waived. Glad virgin didn't let me continue to be a customer as I'm now saving $360 if I keep it for full 24 months.

I'm surprised Virgin isn't matching Koodo and Fido to make this available for existing customers.

I thought using the LTE on watch is only available on Bell (and Telus and Rogers) and not the subbrands.
