[Virgin Mobile] Virgin Home internet 100 M for $45, 50M for $40 with Bill credit YMMV

I was already with Bell so instead of going with Fido, wanted to go with Virgin. I tried their chat asking if they have something similar to Fido. I was successful in third attempt, the agent informed that the below offers are available

$25 off per month on 100 Meg with $150 Bill credit (on second or third bill)
$20 off per month on 50 Meg with $100 Bill credit (on second or third bill)
$10 off per month on 25Meg with no Bill credit

$25,20,10 off is valid for 12 months
I am a new customer and from Mississauga, ON.

Thanks @K3DubEU for the contribution:
Existing Virgin customer:

I called in last week in attempt to have them match Fido's offer. They didn't budge as expected. I submitted a cancellation order for the end of my billing cycle. I decided to call in today to see if they would open a new account on the same address to take advantage of the new customer offer. They had no concerns and agreed. Everything went through and service will be activated right after my current plan ends.

The annoying part is that they still need to send a tech over to "install" the new service and expect me to ship the existing modem back.

Another user @nitin12822 reported that it is also possible to get this deal from Virgin Store
FYI: Virgin Stores are selling $25 discounted pricing. If you want, just buy a new line with them(with $25 & 150 bill credit) and cancel your old connection.

2) i wonder if Virgin 100 MB is much better than Bell 50 MB.

You are lucky that you have fiber available at your address. This is not a bad deal for people who only have DSL lines.

I need to do more research about Virgin Internet. I have Fiber to nearest point and then DSL. So if not DSL how does Virgin terminates internet at my home.

Currently getting 100Mbps for $35/mo. Speeds have been consistent, no complains there.

Only thing is that I got this offer after I cancelled my plan and they called me back and offered it to me.

I didn't actually get the discount applied to my account til 5 phone calls, a couple emails to corporate and 2 or 3 months later.

That pissed me off but they gave me 2 months free for it plus credited back the extra I paid while waiting for my discount to be applied.
