[Virgin Mobile] Virgin mobile 50 MBps home internet unlimited - $30/mth for 12 month

Probably for new activations but if you're a virgin mobile user, this is hot. It runs on bell too.

EDIT: I called in (currently on 25mbps) and they said they can't apply it to existing users so YMMV if you're currently on one of their plans.

Edit 2: no Quebec apparently.

Thread Summary
Offer not open to Quebec.
Apparently, this offer is now open to everyone (i.e. without a Virgin Mobile service)

Thanks OP got the deal. Please note I was on the 3 month promo.

The CSR was able to maximize deal by putting the new promo on after the free 3 months expire..

Does Virgin do FTTH? Condos locked to FTTH only get Rogers or Bell. You can now get Fido too. But no other ISPs such as TekSavvy or Start.ca, etc.

Virgin is owned by Bell, so I assume it resells Bell's FTTH

I am currently with Bell. Is there any way to switch over without experiencing service interruptions?

I called them and got some additional info on the deal:
1. No set up fees
2. No contract term
3. Includes a router and modem
4. Requires a Virgin Mobile account to use the deal

EDIT: No longer requires a Virgin account as point 4

I'd imagine you can just sign up for a mobile account on their cheapest plan, and then cancel it as soon as the internet gets activated, pay a couple bucks at most

May I ask how you positioned it to get the deal? I am also a new customer and just in the first month of my 3 months free. So you just asked them for $30 a month after the 3 months free? And they said yes??

Did you call in to cancel the Virgin internet? If so how did it go? I haven't called into cancel yet, my Rogers 500u is set for May 1.
