Did they contact you in advance? Or was this was mailed to you out of no where?
If so, how long after you left Virgin did you get this?

I pay $40 for 6 GB and it's plenty, especially with current situation.
I cannot see people using up to 15 GBs nowadays.
Well, excessive depending on what you do, where you live, etc. If you're working from home and live somewhere rural, you may be burning through data, or perhaps you are not sending the kiddos to school and using more data. I usually hit 10GB/month working stand by emergency repair shift work, spending more time out on the boat or in the bush, etc. 15GB is a great amount, and I don't even do that much video or audio streaming.

My dad just got the letter for 8gb for $45/month. He switched carriers over 2 years ago also. I tried getting that deal for myself since Im with VM currently and they said they couldn't do that. I called 2 times to see the different offers reps would provide and I ended up getting the $55 for 11gb loyalty deal for the time being(currently $61 for 10gb). I need to starting switching carriers to get these winback offers!

No, it will not work for existing customers. You can possibly get some loyalty add ons/discounts by calling in, but not this win back offer.

"Nowdays" are old days for some people. Not a single day off work, no chance of WFH, no CERB - using on average 13-14 GB before Covid, usind 13-14GB during the Covid. 15 GB works for me ($50/15GB Fido win back).

Good luck. I was with Virgin for more than 12 years and I would call them up from time to time asking for a better plan, but they would always say no. When I proted out the best they could offer was $35 for 5gb. Why the heck don't they offer good plans for existing customers so they don't have to port out in the first place?!?!?

because virgin is Bell Canada! crooks!

A tip for anyone reading - activating the win back offer IN store with a commissioned sales rep might get you some bonus data or bonus credits etc. Don't be desperate, ask what they'll do for you vs calling in. Have them open up the loyalty and retention offers. Might be a 2GB or 5Gb etc check box hiding in there.

ie: wirelesswave, tbooth, wireless etc, wowmobile. NOT walmart or bestbuy.
