I am in GTA. When I port to public Mobile, I wasn't offer this deal. So, I had to port from public to freedom and then received this deal.

Other users port to different carriers and received this deal. Please check few old post to get better idea.

I guess porting out to Koodo or Rogers should work
. But I am not sure.

I went to Telus and was offered this plan. So it isn't just Freedom that this offer is for. Just make sure that when you get the email (check inbox and spam) or call say that your plan is similar to this winback plan (list off 20gb of data, unlimited Canada wide, text, vm, cid, etc) and then they will start their pitch of this plan, etc

kcorscadden wrote: I left Virgin for Telus a couple of days ago. I got an email from Virgin with the phone number of 1-877-239-3158

They gave me an offer of:

$45 a month

- 25 gb of data
- Canada wide calling
- text/picture world wide
- 1000 international mins
- no activation fee
- $45 credit for the 1st month
- cid/vm/conference

It's sad that I had to leave Virgin to get this offer though. Apparently, the rep guarantees me that there will never be a price increase as long as I stay on this plan with Virgin. I haven't accepted yet, but I am hesitant with the "never a price increase" guarantee.
Got a similar deal today after I ported over to Telus (got an EPP plan $50/15GB). I told them to call me on Monday again & will let them know my decision.

I am similar boat, hesitant because I don't trust the whole 'no price increase' guarantee. I am hoping to get a Apple Watch Cellular sometime soon & with Telus EPP, I won't have to pay extra to have cellular connectivity on the watch.

Just an FYI, you can only use Apple Watch Cellular on Rogers/Bell/Telus and Freedom. It is not compatible with the 2nd tier brands.

Yep I am aware, hence the migration to Telus EPP. Still trying to decide if I need a watch or not lol

I just got through physical mail a Virgin Mobile offer, which is $50 for 15GB of data. I was with them for a week only Face With Tears Of Joy. The funny thing is, that I am now on Rogers $45 25GB.

I was Bell - port out last year and today via mail received a Virgin mobile sim card along with $50/15 GB plan. $45 fee waived as well. My public mobile $27/2GB is still ok as wfh will continue at least until EOY.

You were whining about tbaytel's prices on social media, yet you were fine paying $105.00 with Virgin?

I just needed 2 GB. I got new S10 for 120 down and phone + Tab $45 with 25% employmee discount. Just recently I needed more data + US calling + India minutes. So I was looking for alternatives

I got $45 25 GB from rogers and Virgin.

With winback they offered me $45 25 GB plan + 1000 India Minutes and $400 device credit ( but plan would be $45 13 GB)

If anyone want iPhone 12. I think it is a great deal for 128 GB. 1236 - $319 - $400

In total $60.33 plus tax per month for 25GB and iPhone.
Did they offer you 25 GB data or 13/12 GB. They are offering me the $45 25 GB BYOP but with device they are just giving 13 GB in $45 ( $55 plan - $10 credits) with 400 device credit

Not sure what 13/12GB means but mine is the 25GB plan that’s regularly $100 per month, less 55% discount, equals $45.

I ported out with the hope there might be something on the cheaper end as well. But, unfortunately, they didn't. The agent was very courteous, but couldn't offer me anything on the low end, i.e. 1or 2 GB on $20-$25. She could offer 25 GB/$45. But given that my wife was using 200 MB on her previous 2 GB plan, 25 GB seemed completely pointless. She is with Public Mobile $13 plan for now. Will be on the lookout for something better.

I ported last night, got a phone call, offered a $100 dollars plan with 25GB, and $55 cred = $45 for 25GB, but they weren't offering the device credit.
