When you have unlimited calling, why would you need wifi calling? I've never understood why people require that on unlimited plans. Maybe they live in poor reception areas? Basement suites?

Whenever I use it, I find my calls fade in and out on my Pixel 2 or my iPhone X. Just using celular works best.
I got kicked out of Chapters because I moved all the Bibles to the fiction section.

The benefit is alternative means of coverage. There are no billing or rate plan advantages.

This is true, never happened to me before on any of my two year contracts. Only rate increases I gotten were BYOD and we all know those may happen.

So what happens if they decide to do a rate hike on a 2 year term and you refuse the changes. The phone gets return and you lose out your upfront and the amount that you already paid through the tab?

No, if you refuse you get a bill for whats left of your tab and you keep the phone. If you refuse the bill then you have to give the phone back and lose everything.

So it's a win win for the big guy. Seems a bit weird since that scenario in the wireless code mentions you can refuse the change with no penalties but no details on your subsidized device.

My assumption was that since they want to break you would return your phone and they would refund the upfront cost only if any.

Hey. I called in loyalty and was not able to get the $56 for 10GB due to my being on contract.

The rep offered $56 for 8GB instead. Better than the $65 for 4GB I was getting. Always call anyways and check your options

Thanks!

You've got yourself a great deal. How long are you with Virgin? And are you from QC?
