I bought and return the pro model when it was on sale on bestbuy for the same price few days ago. As mentioned in reviews it is tight even for average head size and turned out to be true in my case as well. Fit wasn't comfortable at all.

How were you able to return an opened set of headphones?

The associate mentioned opened headsets can be returned but they issue store credit but I told her fit was really an issue and she accepted it and processed it as an exception. However I purchased plantronics backbeat pro model just before returning monster which I have shown it to her that I had to go with that in return of this.

The headphones listed in the OP are the "on" ear pros, the bestbuy deal was for the "over" ear pros.
