It was in a LG box, strapped and taped like all of them. It was a new tv but a crappy 65 Sony Bravia. The styrofoam was different but managed to fit the box exactly somehow. It was the strangest thing and I couldn’t believe it happened
Congrats for managing to trick them ;)

Yeah, I have to do our weekly run of groceries soon anyways so Ill have to volunteer to leave my district (house) to go in and do a quick run. Just over a week ago I went in at like 10AM on a Tuesday, it was so much better then.

It’s just up on Visions at the moment but I assume this will be everywhere. Get it at the end of next week at Costco and you should be with in 90 days of Black Friday for if it drops more. I expect it will be under $3k.

I have the C8 but will be returning it for a C9. As a gamer I need the HDMI 2.1
The 55b9 was 1698 just last week. I got one

Why? You can't predict the future. If you want it get it now.

Those would be pretty old stock by then, I don't think you'll see many hanging around still.

Hard to say since we're still in the first week of April. I'm pretty sure 2020 sets will be on sale by that time, but it'll probably be more expensive than the 2019 models since it won't be on clearance.

I think the B series will be pretty well gone by mid-summer and then the C9 series will go on clearance in the late summer. Last August the 55" C8 was on clearance at Costco for $1497 in August. I'm not sure about the 65", but I think it was around $2497. Then, a few remaining 55" C9s were cleared out on Sept 1 for $1297, but stock was VERY limited and vanished within hours. The 65" C8 dropped to around $2297 and then the last remaining ones were cleared around $1997 (Again, VERY limited quantities at select locations). So you might be able to pick up a C9 for a price that's similar to what the B9's are selling for now if you wait until August and jump as soon as you see the clearance price and then try to Price Match if you see any further reductions in price and can find stock after that. If you want the C9 then it might make sense to wait - the B9 might get a bit lower, but I don't think there will be much inventory beyond early summer.

As others have said, it'll likely be the new models on sale on Black Friday, but they won't be as cheap as the older clearance models (best guess would be $1799 for the new 55" and $2499 for the new 65").

After some googling, it looks like you're right. For some reason I thought that was one of the differences between the B9 and the higher models, but I guess it's mainly that it has a lower speed CPU and a slightly different stand. I've edited my response.
