Oddly, the USB interface is host, not device. You don't plug it into a computer using USB, you plug a USB stick into the turntable and it will convert any record to an mp3 file on that USB stick.

To hook it up to a system, you use RCA cables. But you don't need an RIA equalized port -- the equalizing is done by the turntable. Very convenient.

Not a great turntable, but an inexpensive one.
