not with the delorean in the shop.
that was before last summer walmart was clearing them out. I bought 2 x $15 and 3 x $8 of the retro radio from these threads. to get over the 50 for freeshipping. Well worth it. The retros I kept one for the kitchen which is nice and the other 2 were for secret santa.

On the little retro tho I did manage to get better reception by using a 3.5 mm audio input telescopic antenna which helped.

Mine arrived this morning! It has BOTH circular style power adapter and micro usb power adapter connectors!

I took a photo (through the plastic): https://ibb.co/Tr574hm

EDIT: Oops, looks like this was already reported on Page 3. Should have looked before posting. Oh well. I am still happy. Now to test it out!

Let us know how the testing goes. Can it play while charging? How is the Bluetooth connection? How is the sound quality?

I have a similar 12" Sylvania that I got "free" from the brick with a couch purchase,
https://www.curtisint.com/product/spa040
It probably has most/all of the same guts as this one, just different shell design with the control panel on the top instead of the back.
It has the barrel type charge port as well.
I have used it a handful of times at 70-80% volume for 7h+ straight, while charging at the same time. As for sound quality, adequate for "fun" scenarios like karaoke or outdoor BBQ, or workout music...which are my 3 primary uses for it. But for general music or movie watching, it's not the best as voice and dialogue lack the adequate clarity. This is your "party speaker" on the cheap, nothing more, but with reasonable expectations can provide much enjoyment.
Add: never actually used BT on it. I attached a magnetic mount for cars to it and have a spare cell phone and a coiled 3.5mm aux cable plugged in all the time.

It can play while charging (or at least, it still plays while I have plugged in the charger....)
BT connection is great, I tested it thru drywall about 12 feet away, no issues (its just drywall though)
Sound quality I posted about it earlier Post #35 in this thread

Ordered one for the cottage this summer, will grab a Milwaukee m18 > usb adapter and bolt it to the back somehow for all-day tunes. Certainly cheaper than the $200 Milwaukee wants for a jobsite radio.

I ordered for ISPU to Whitby but they emailed me a few hours later to tell me it was no longer available. I've emailed back opting to get it shipped after all and wonder if they'll let me keep the $5 off. Will update with final invoice later

Edit: got shipping notification, the $5 discount remains!

just picked this up...

the wheel is there for a reason, while it isn't heavy-heavy by any means. I definitely wouldn't want to carry this around.

It does have some weight to it

I think atrophy is setting in from covid isolation. You did see the inside photos right?
https://fccid.io/SXX-KTS1155/Internal-P ... to-4523707

they could have made a cooler with the extra space inside. A strong wind can blow these over. Its a hollow block of plastic with a handle, wheels,a couple of AA size batteries, a pcb board as small as a raspberry zero and a speaker!

This is no ghetto blaster and those.......... didn't come with wheels baby!!!.

probably, but you also probably won't be outside if the wind is that strong
