dunno if this is a joke comment, but generally no. Your internet speed is determined by 3 factors: the speed that you paid your ISP for, the speed of the router, and the speed of the device being connected. Most of the time, people are bottlenecked by the ISP because they didn't pay enough for the speeds they want.

The main advantage of this router would be the large amount of connected devices as well as the coverage. It could also be useful if you have a NAS, as within your own network you are only limited by the speed of your router/devices. This means that connecting a SSD to the router, and from the router to the PC, you would get the full 2.5gbit speeds.

I was able to PM visions electronics and got it for $251.99 with free shipping.
This model has the 2.5GB port.
Thanks for sharing the deal. Vision price matched Canada Computer's pricing. Appears to have stock at the time of posting this message.
Best Buy had a deal on RT-AX86U at $279 last month if I remember correctly. This particular router doesn't get discounted very often and is well-received. Will likely get support from Asuswrt-Merlin for years to come.

To be honest, it depends what's inside your walls. I wouldn't expect dramatic differences in Wi-Fi range from what you have.

This is a trick question:
1. The internet is not yours.
2. You changing hardware does not make other people's computers run faster.

This router is red. It's been scientifically proved that red makes things go faster.

Only if you have a relative baseline to compare with...to prompt the fast'er'.

For all we know the other router could be from hyperspace...with FTL capabilities.

Like an above response mentioned, the “question” is a reference to the Gundam character named Char, nicknamed the Red Comet. This Wi-Fi router’s colour scheme is based on Char’s customized zaku.

origin of 3 times faster
