Bizarre considering the postitive reviews and description for shooting photos? Wouldn't this choke most decent cameras?

No, it will be fine for most cameras. I have a couple of these cards, and I can confirm that they are even slower than spec (as are most cards).

Are Kingston Canvas Go! Plus cards better?
I bought a 64gb from Canada Computers 10 days ago. Will I get regret buying this?

I had a few bad experiences on Kingston card, if just a few bucks cheaper compared to sandisk, I would not buy them again.

It wouldn't choke in most cases as decent cameras have a buffer to hold in memory till photos are written.

You'll feel it if you take burst photos and start to have 4 or more in memory waiting to write.

I've had more bad experience with Sandisk than Kingston. I've only ever had one Kingston card fail prematurely, and Kingston swapped it for me no problem.
