[Visions Electronics] LG 5.2 cu.ft. Ultra Large Smart Front Load Washer plus 7.4 cu.ft. Electric Dryer $1698

Hi Guys

If you're looking for a new washer and dryer combo, this one seems pretty good.

Really it depends on how much laundry you do.
Cheers

Have this set. Around Nov 2020 purchase the WM3500CW/DLE3500W pair from Rona for under $1400 with taxes after the Ontario energy rebate and through some combined price matching. With a matching LG pair they offered free delivery and install.

Washer is fine, does what it needs to do. Most things come out ringed out very well. Dryer however can leave clothes sometimes moist depending on the the fabric and if large pieces get tangled (bed sheets). By default it runs in energy saver mode, when turned off its fine.

I recall there is a lower model with an all white front door (not silver). From what I read the major differences might be different electronics and an older wifi module.

Also the wash cycle on the WM3500CW is extremely long. Normal takes an hour. I have a LG washer at my own house where the wash cycle is half as long but is just as clean. With the dryer, I find it doesn't sensor dry well. I tend to air dry my clothes first and then throw it in the dryer after to soften the clothes. My LG dryer at home will stop after a few minutes cus the clothes are already dry. The DLE3500W will run through its whole Normal Cycle, wasting electricity. As a result, I manually set the DLE3500W to dry for just 10 minutes on low heat instead.

My LG washer/dryer combo at my own house is no longer available for sale but I found the difference quite interesting.
RFD is love. RFD is life.
