Good deal, not sure I've seen the pro on sale before outside of a staples coupon. I have 3 shields already. Best steamer and support on the market. Thanks for posting.

Smoother, faster, sexier, and built in plex server.

I had 4k too, I got it on bf deal for 34 bux but I still feel like it's a waste of money compared to my shield pro.
I have lg c8 TV, I hate their OS and very restrictive app choices. Their panel is the only thing I love about the tv, and the shield pretty much bypasses their shit tier integrated trash

Should update your post OP as this is going on sale everywhere now.

Also available at Amazon.ca for $229.99 (save $30). Can still use UGO to purchase Amazon.ca gift card to cover the cost and get $25 back from it's $255 total price with tax (UGO gives $10 for every $100 spent during their Christmas promo). That brings the total price of the Shield Pro down to $229.99 - $25.54 = $204.45 before tax, or $255.40 - $25.54 = $229.86 all in (here in BC... taxes will be different in different provinces, of course).

Edit: seems like in most cases people get the gift cards right away, but promo bonuses take 1-2 days to be delivered (excluding weekends)

That's right. Gift card arrives immediately for use... bonus arrives in a day or two (in the form of more gift cards from where you purchased, so in this case, Amazon.ca).

Tempted but original 2015 shield still going strong for me and still receiving latest updates from Nvidia. If my original ever dies I will not hesitate to buy a new one.
