[Visions Electronics] Open Box Uniden DFR5 Radar Detector - $78

Great price on a decent detector. Open box so YMMV on condition. No photo radar/lidar detection or GPS but what do you expect? :P

Uniden DFR5 Long Range Radar Detector Highlights:
Long Range Laser Radar Detection
X, K, and Ka band on/off
POP and Laser alert alarms
Highway and City modes
360 degree protection
Voice alert
Easy to read dot matrix display
Advanced K Filter

Also the refurb Uniden R1 from THIS thread still shows as available for me if you are looking at a higher end detector with much higher sensitivity and filtering.

I believe that anything more than 50% of its original price is not a good deal

For people in Vancouver, this wouldn't be too helpful unfortunately: https://www.kmph.ca/collections/radar-d ... h-columbia
I think most radar detectors aren't that useful in the city but can save you from the most roving radar, especially on the highways. Not too much can protect you from the new age LiDAR unfortunately.

spend more the unit is not worth it, in BC especially gvrd get something with red light and gps functionality. I would opt for a refurbed 9500ix , you will pay more but its good
