[Visions Electronics] Proscan 32" 720P 60Hz LED TV (PLDED3273A) $98 Shipped/ -$5 ISPU

Visions has these basic 720p 32" Proscan TV's today in their Wednesday Only offers for $98 shipped. Order online for ISPU and get a $5 merch credit card with order. Comments seem pretty good for what this is, a bare bone econo TV.
Not for everyone for sure, but maybe for an econo choice for a bedroom, kids room, guest room etc. No smart features, but suitable for a $20 Firestick, Android box or other cheap streamer.
I would give my life to protect your right to say something really funking stupid.

Respect your OP's. They don't get paid to do this, and don't have to come here to post their deals for you. They can all just hoard their deals in silence, if you prefer?

Seriously, might as well just grab something off kijiji. Save it from going in to the dump.
Didn't have any takers for my old 40" 1080p tv's @ $20. Ended up giving them away for free.

Value village probably has a better tv than this for less.

The word "better" in these analyses often carries a lot of unfounded assumptions and personal choices in it.
Its kinda like the assumption that a car with a V8 is just "better" than a 4 cylinder without any thought to the usage or to the economics of the individual user. Similarly if you look at a standard television viewing distance chart you will see that the distances where the "better" 1080P and 4K 32" TV's resolution is perceived by most people is incredibly narrow. So yes, if you plan to use your small TV as a monitor for more than occasional use get a 4K, if you plan to sit within 5 feet of your 32" TV maybe you will perceive some small benefit by spending the extra money for 1080p. Those are personal value judgements that an individual has to make for themselves, though, not obvious carved in stone rules for everyone.

I believe JonSnow's point was that TCL is a better brand, the fact it is 1080 vs 720 was negligible.

TCL is just another budget brand.

No that wasn't directed at him specifically at all.
There were just a lot of different unqualified "betters". already in the thread. His is actually a 720p scratch and dent for $$35 more.
It does have Android smart features so that might make it a worthwhile choice for some, though.
Sorry, but that is another unqualified "better" assumption. That the 32"TCL is automatically superior to the 32" Proscan simply on the merit of who manufactured it. In the real world "good" manufacturers/distributors can make poor models, and "poor' manufacturers can make good models. If either even manufacture any or all of what they sell. The world is more complex than a bunch of simplistic assumptions.

Yes it is, but it's much better than Proscan which is just another name that was licensed by the low end electronics maker Curtis International. RTINGS.com has reviews for TCL TVs, they don't bother with TVs that are licensed names like RCA, JVC, Proscan, etc.

This tv is get people into their stores... or sell your information to them. Some might use this. Damn 32IN for Sub $100, amazing, but 720P in 2023 and 32IN, damn too small.

+1 OP for sharing this

I know this is gonna sound funny to most people and they’re gonna question me why but…. I’m looking for a TV with a built-in Blu-ray player. I know you can find TVs with built-in DVD player combo units, but I’m looking for a TV with a built-in Blu-ray player if possible. I know I know you’re wondering why. I just want one. I would settle for a TV with a built-in DVD player but I’m just not crazy about the RCA brand name and I don’t know what other ones I would buy that are out there like ProScan and Westinghouse are not quite appealing either. I wouldn’t mind a Toshiba LG Panasonic or Sony combo unit but yeah if anybody has any leads on this, please let me know.

Anyone know if this has a power brick on the cord? I'm looking for a TV for my RV that I can convert to 12v easily but it's super hard to find TVs with power brick cords these days...

Knowing value village they'd price this TV at $500.

Okay I'm curious. Why?
Do you not have anything else to do rather than argue with strangers on the internet
Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.

For the basement. And because I think they’re cool.

This is a good deal for an RV or something

$98 and 720p/1080p for a 32" you watch movies on is irrelevant
