Great price for a solid monitor. Bought it for around $300+ last year and used it for work. 28" 4k is great for coding/working with text + it's an IPS.

It’s a boxing day price, as low as it gets.

Great price, can even use the 50/100 or 100/250 Amazon Business coupon as it's sold by Amazon.ca...

Doesn't appear to be height adjustable, deal breaker for some folks (just an FYI, great find OP!)

I considered this monitor too given the price and specs on paper.

This is the best I could find, but pulled direct from Samsung site
https://displaysolutions.samsung.com/monitor/detail/1532/U28R55
UR55 has received the world's first certification as a monitor from TÜV Rheinland for Eye Comfort 2.0 standard, which validates that the product can provides user a comfortable viewing experience with accurate color reproduction, minimized ambient light impact, reduced toxic blue light and flicker while achieving 99.5% sRGB without any change to resolution.
I would take that with a grain of salt though since I can't find any independent testing or verification. Reddit turned up one user calbrating it to 96% RGB on 2 different panels, so if you need 100% then this isn't for you.

Hmm, I just got the Dell 27" SE2719H a few months ago for $180+ all-in but now I kind of want to pull the trigger on this one.

What display scaling % are you using? Trying to figure if 28" 1440p is basically the same as 4k since scaling would be increased on the 4k

Are there any computer requirements for feeding 4k on the monitor?

VESA compatible....get a separate desk mount if you want adjustment versatility.
