Where did you find the deal for 300? I’ll probably wait as a few sellers have it at 369.

It was available for $300 at Visions. The model with the CD player XAVAX200 was available for $400, which is the one I ended up getting.

How hard are these to install if you’ve never done it before? Really debating putting this into my 15 Chevy Cruze. I need CarPlay Face With Tears Of Joy

Has any one put them on an 06 Civic? How much cost can I expect if I get it installed by a mechanic?

Wasn't the $300 one the AX100, which also has Android Auto?

Will this be installed in a Jetta trendline+ 2013? Will it get bluetooth with it?

Never done this, just exploring options. Anyone has a link will be highly appreciated.

You're thinking of the AX100. This one has the front-facing USB, SiriusXM support, and is Carplay-only.

It's not overly complicated, but may require soldering a few wires. Also, you most likely need to buy a frame (DIN kit) to match your vehicle. (Usually $30-$40).
You'll also want to check if your steering wheel audio controls will still work after the upgrade.

I bought this during the boxing day sale last year and my only real complaint is if you're using Android Auto, there are times you can't adjust the music volume.

It's like it locks on the Google Voice activation volume control instead of your music volume. Other than that, a physical volume knob is hard to find for decent double dins.

I installed the xav-ax100 from last the black friday sale in my 08 Civic. Wasn't too bad. I bought a dash kit and wiring harness from Amazon. You have to run the mic kinda through your dash and up the A-pilar to get it above your head. If you have steering wheel controls etc you'll need another part to work with that. Lots of Youtube video's out there. Maybe buy it, and then find an installer in Kijiji if you want cheap and easy? Good luck!
