[Fresh Co] Vita Drink 6x250ml $1.49 @FreshCo Parliament/Dundas

Normally, you buy this for $3.49-$3.99 at either the Spadina or Broadview Chinatowns.

When this store opened, they had these on sale for $2.99. I bought a few. However, since the community isn't predominantly asian, nobody else bought them.

A week later, they dropped it to $2.49. I stockpiled a bunch of them. Still, the community didn't bite.

Now they have dropped it even further to $1.49! This price is absolutely ridiculous! Because of this liquidation, I personally bought 24 6-packs about an hour ago. There's about half their stock left. (maybe ~200 as of this post)

Varieties (they only have these four):
ORIGINAL SOY MILK
MALT SOY MILK (This is HEAVENLY)
LEMON TEA (This has more sugar than Coke! 34g/250ml, while Coke has 27.5g/250ml!)
CHRYSANTHEMUM TEA (21g sugar/250ml)

This isn't advertised on their weekly flyer. It's pretty much the steal of the store and it's going fast! Get it while you can!

(that's only some of my stash; I have more boxes in storage and in the refrigerator)

Nice price! Malt and original are my faves (has the taste of original changed over the years? seems to taste better before)

Not as into the Soy Milk but something about the Lemon Tea makes it very yummy... maybe it is all that sugar.

A quick Google search reveals it was Bonsoy that had unusually high levels of iodine in their product, not Vitasoy. But if you don't want to take advantage of this, that's fine... more for us ^_^

The malt soy milk is just awesome. Give it a try.

Both soy milks have 16g sugar/250ml, which is less than fruit juice (24g/250ml). There is an unsweetened version of Vitasoy but they come in 1L boxes, not 6x250ml, for the obvious reason that it doesn't sell as well and is not geared towards children as most drink boxes are.

But yeah, the lemon tea (34g/250ml) is sugar overload. You can taste it, too. If it's too sweet, water it down and it'll be a bit more tolerable.
