Cheaper at Amazon. I'm actually tempted at $360...
Amazon renewed (not Vitamix refurbished) if you didn't already see that. I'd be checking with Vitamix directly about whether they offer any warranty beyond Amazon's 90-day warranty.

Amazon Renewed is your trusted destination for pre-owned and refurbished products that are inspected and tested to work and look like new. A Renewed supplier who is Amazon-qualified and performance managed, performs a full diagnostic test, replaces any defective parts, and thoroughly cleans the product. The products will have minimal to no signs of wear and no visible cosmetic imperfections when held 12 inches away. Products with batteries have at least 80% capacity relative to new and may arrive in a brown or white box with relevant accessories that may be generic.

This product comes with a minimum 90-day supplier-backed warranty
An Amazon qualified supplier will provide a replacement or refund within 90 days of your receipt if the product does not work as expected. The warranty is in addition to Amazon's standard return policy.
PSAs
-Read store exceptions before combining discounts with cash back sites
-There is a difference between the words NEED (necessities) and WANT (desires). The word NEED is over-used on RFD and in society in general.

Agreed. Based on the questions from Amazon it looks like it does not come with the 5 year warranty. I think the warranty from Vitamix is probably worth the difference.

I'm new to Vitamix and just want a reliable no frill blender. Do I go for e310 at $380
Step up to 5300 refurb at $450 for the larger size and motor
Or go for the v1200 for $450 same as op?

I'm also new to Vitamix. I'm upgrading my 5 year old Ninja blender. From what I can tell the V1200 is a newer model than the 5300. Apparently it is similar to the Ascent line, except with different aesthetics, noisier, and only has pre-programmed options via the app (instead of buttons on the base). The V1200 comes with the extra 20oz container though.

I still haven't pulled the trigger to purchase, thinking I will though. I don't know the historical prices for when there are deals at costco though, so can't tell how good of a deal I am getting.

The Amazon link carries the same warranty as the reconditioned one directly from vitamix. Its like the dyson outlet selling on bestbuy. Not sure why they don't make this clearer in the product description.

You have 90 days to return through amazon, then the mfr warranty applies.

I can’t the exact details or remember if I called both amazon and vitamix to confirm this or if it was just vitamix. Someone else who has purchased a rectified blender from amazon is more than welcome to refute my claim that these are the same units.

I think I decided on the 5300 even though it's not on sale. The reviews for v1200 on the US site aren't great. Plus I don't care about Bluetooth or timer.

I have Vitamix that I bought from Costco . Awesome mixer grinder , the smoothies come out like what you get at those professional stores , top of that their customer service is top notch. Would highly recommend Vitamix and also their warranty is 5-8 years.
