Vitamix Certified Reconditioned V1200 for $449.95 - includes blade base and one 20 ounce cup

Using coupon 06-591, a Certified Reconditioned Venturist V1200 (the one they sell at the Costco Roadshow right now for $499) is available for $449.95 ($130 off), and includes a blade base and *one* 20 ounce cup (you would need to buy the base + 2 cup package for $140, I believe, at the Roadshow). Comes with free shipping (though I signed up for Vitamix Rewards).

I bought this and an additional 20 ounce self-detect blending cup for $40, making the total for the V1200 and the two cups + blade base = $563.27 taxes included ($489.90 + taxes).

Just a heads up, the costco roadshow price for a new V1200 was 399.99 not 499.99
I went with that as it's brand new, and I don't anticipate needing those accessories.

Blade base and 20-ounce container are one of the crappiest items Vitamix sells. Most items stick to the side and are difficult to blend. Best is to avoid these 2 and stick to the bigger container or buy a 48-ounce container.

It was $399.99 a month ago but is now $499.99 (see the thread).

I actually have it and use it almost every day for smoothies and I don't have this problem. Depending on how much hard ingredients I put in, I sometimes have to shake it once and then run the smoothie button again but I'm generally happy with it.

Maybe it's good for smoothies with a lot of liquid. My experience has been completely opposite. It's definitely a bad choice for puree, baby food and nut butter. Or time-consuming as you have to keep opening the container whereas in 48-ounce container I can open the top and move things around

Holding off on this deal hoping to find an A3300 or A3500 for a good price. Like the cleaner look. Am I crazy?

Apologies for the late reply, you can call to have it adjusted usually a credit back to the cc.
