Kimovil is usually pretty reliable in terms of listing the frequencies that a phone has.

In terms of buying... It's usually pretty rare that any retailers carry these Chinese smartphones locally, usually the only option is to buy from overseas (AliExpress, etc). It's a big part of why I'm reluctant to buy the high end Chinese phones these days no matter how tempting the specs look - if you have any issues at all, it becomes a massive hassle.

Depends on the country and the manufacturer, but yes, they often do (which is why many of these phones often have European-centric frequency support but not North American-centric). But unless you're planning on going to Europe to pick it up, getting it to Canada can still be pretty difficult.
