Vizio V505 vs TCL 50S423 smart TV features

Hi All,

I do already know the differences in the technical specs and picture quality between these 2. I have a friend that is more concerned with the smart TV features, which has the easier to use and/or better overall experience when using the smart TV interface? I was thinking the TCL as it uses Roku?
