It looks likes the screw going onto the flat face of the shaft is not quite perpendicular. If that's the case you can maybe rotate the brass part a touch anticlockwise with some pliers and it may loosen things up a bit.

does anyone need a GD32 motherboard for the aquila? i converted mine to a switchwire so i no longer have use.
it's good for custom firmware - i ran Alex's FW before my conversion
