Since Shell just killed its 10% off deal, the timing is pretty good too. Not as good for sure as the Shell deal, but it seems it's getting harder and harder to find good gas discount hacks. I used to do the Canadian Tire GC 10% off, but haven't seen that in ages.

If you consider $15 as the cost of the discounts card, it comes out to 7.5 cents/litre off for 600 litres.

Not as good as the Shell offer, but you can use this once the Shell offer is over. At current rates, Shell is coming out to be around 11 cents off per litre.

GCR is showing 8% on 'everything else'.
It doesn't have this language.

Anyone have previous experience on this working?

$0.10/L fuel card is pretty good. Usually it's $0.025/L.

Hot deal. Thanks!

For those who don't already know this, you can spend the gift cards/discount cards at Mobil stations as well (The one near my place is one of the cheapest around).

GCR says "Note : Cash back on gift cards only available here."
"here" links to their own gift card shop.

This is basically saying spend $15 to get a $60 fuel discount card, or further, translating to get 7.5c off per L for a total of 600L if you would like to spend $300 on esso gift cards. Roughly 5% - 7% saving considering today's gas price. If your credit card could have better % rebate on gas than wagjag, the deal could be worse than that considering you will lose a little for the $300 you paid by gift card.

I saw that as well. However, in the fine print on the WagJag site for the deal it says 'Not valid with any affiliate/cash back offers' so I think it would be hard to make the case that GCR should pay out. I still have about 900l of 10c left from the last deal where WagJag retroactively tried to exclude the esso cards from cashback and there was no extra charge for the fuel savings card. If I could get the 8% back from GCR I would be all over this, but I don't think it is worth it at this point for me.

Why not just take advantage of the Shell promo instead: https://www.redflagdeals.com/deal/autom ... r-30-2019/

You don't have to pay upfront and the discounts are about the same? What am I missing here with the exception of brand preference?

Good Deal. Last time I stacked up with Wagjag 15% discount (entire site 24 hours deal). So, wait and watch wagjag has this kind of discount going on frequently.

Wagjag promo code 15THANKS19 doesn't seem to work if you try to buy the same deal again.
