Good price, but 1gb ram just isn't enough for Android to run well.

Seems like a good deal. The price is really good. But, for some reason I don't like the Android tabs. I mean look, Tab is not a mobile nor a notebook pc. It's kind of a middle thing. And I see mobiles as a better device than a tab, and I believe tab is no match for any types computer.

These cheap tablets are ideal for children, you know, the ones that don't have mobile phones and high end pcs.

Obviously a $98 tablet isn't a match for a PC.

Had I not bought my kids some galaxy tabs for Christmas, I be all over this.

Yes, I know these are meant for children. But you know, I just hate to admit that someone have to spent 98 dollar for a fancy toy. That's just too expensive (if you treat a tab as a toy).

$98 is too expensive? A couple of family meals at the golden arches would consume about as much money.

I find it funny how the vendors label 1280x800 screen resolution as HD.
And on 10 inch screen it is especially atrocious...

Is the touch screen really responsive? I want to use this tablet for digital art.

Not a bad deal - for basic reading and basic apps it's more than ok.

Screen is not very high res but for $100 what do you expect. I may get one for my niece's birthday.

HD is 720 resolution (1280x720) or greater. Full HD is 1080+.

Thanks OP, picked one up for my kids. They had a cheapo Chinese tablet which recently died, so timing is perfect.

??? What exactly is wrong? 720p (1280×720) is also considered as HD. So technically nothing wrong with the labelling.

Heck apple iphone 6, 6s and 7is also using only 1334x750 and nobody picked on the "retina" display. Itstead people blindly wows it.

Resolution isn't the only factor to consider. Same as cameras and megapizels.

Exactly. Megapixels is not everything for a camera. A camera can have 100 megapixels but still take terrible photos , vs a good 4M camera can take great photos.
