Meh... Still not quite worth it considering the new 10.5 inch is only $869 and it'd be a 64GB version. Fingers still crossed for the firesale!

Decent deal for the 32 GB version if you're strapped for cash.

If you have a student card, go get 10.5 inches from apple and sell that free Beats X for $150

Too bad none of the 12.9" gen1 are on clearance yet.
Costco have them discounted, but not by this extend.

I decided to purchase the new 10.5 through education discounts at $839 with free BeatsX. Will sell BeatsX for around $130 making effective cost $709 which sounds better to me. I think these last gen Pros need to be discounted further. Hopefully see similar discounts to when they put the Air 2 on clearance.

For reference you can purchase refurbished Pros from direct from Apple starting at $619 as well. Direct Apple refurbs are good as new and come with full 1 year warranty.

Market is totally flooded with these. I don't think it'll be easy to sell unless you're willing to take, like $100-120. At the source, you can get them brand new everyday for $143.99 (PSP) - $25 coupon, so they're $120 + taxes from retail.

Trying to compare this to the 2017 Ipad 32G, which is $449. Can anyone comment on this? It looks like Ipad Pro is better than 2017 Ipad but not by much?

I actually just sold my 2017 iPad (they call it 5th gen iPad). Reason being is that the screen is not laminated to the display whereas on the pro it is laminated. The difference is that when you look at the 2017 on any sort of angle it looks like you are viewing the display through a window. I find it also causes more glare in bright environments. The Pro that is mentioned here also has True Tone display, quad speakers, faster processor and better camera. Pro models are also compatible with Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard if that is important to you.

This version doesn't have 120hz display right? Can anyone comment how noticeable this is?

Are the iPads that much better then other tablets? I'm looking to get one mainly for my kids. Can anyone recommend some tablets for ~4 year old? I also have a ton of shoppers points which would be great to use on a tablet shoppers carries.

I have both pro, old and new, I find it quite noticeable to where the old screen actually starts to feel choppy in comparison next to each other
