Ok, thanks. I bought a 750g tub from Superstore (Real Canadian Superstore) in Calgary last week for $1.88

Great price OP but you should have price matched to Superstore for a better deal - get the flipp app and you'll be able to price match easily in the future ;-)

I have the flypp app but I didn't see it on there. I felt $2 was a decent price, but I have seen it marginally lower in the past.

Regular price is $4.00 here. Balkan style is very good.rolomonster wrote: ↑ Howwwwww is Astro at 3 for $6 a hot deal?! How much are people paying for Astro?

Food Basics has 12 x 100g mixed packs on for $2.88 this week, so a slightly better deal
Basics -- 12 x 100g = 1200g / $2.88 = $.24 per 100g
Walmart -- 1 x 750g = 750g / $2.00 = $.266 per 100g
Basics -- 12 x 100g = 1200g / $2.88 = $.24 per 100g
Walmart -- 1 x 750g = 750g / $2.00 = $.266 per 100g

It is a way cheaper price than when not on sale, plus the quality of their balkan yogurt is excellent.... how much would you pay for a good quality product?rolomonster wrote: ↑ Howwwwww is Astro at 3 for $6 a hot deal?! How much are people paying for Astro?

I buy Balkan also occasionally, sometimes Iogo. But it regularly goes on sale for $1.67-$2.00. 3 for 6 is not a hot deal.roblombardi wrote: ↑ It is a way cheaper price than when not on sale, plus the quality of their balkan yogurt is excellent.... how much would you pay for a good quality product?
Edit: Clarifying that Astro regularly goes on sale for $1.67-$2.00. 3 for $6 is not a hot deal.

It's been this price for weeks now. You must buy 3 to get it at $2 each. Any less and you pay regular price.

So Iogo is $1.67-$2.00, on sale (not their regular price)... meaning it is a hot deal also (if their regular price was $2, then I would agree with you, but it's not)rolomonster wrote: ↑ I buy Balkan also occasionally, sometimes Iogo. Mind you, you can't compare the quality of Astro's balkan to Iogo's.... IMO, Astro is much better, but this is somehow subjective.
Just because the price is similar to something different that you also buy on sale, it doesn't mean this isn't a hot deal... to each his/her own, but a deal is a deal

My post is not directed at Iogo prices. I just stated that sometimes I buy Iogo. To clarify Astro regularly goes on sale for $1.67-$2.00. So 3 for $6 is not a hot deal.roblombardi wrote: ↑ So Iogo is $1.67-$2.00, on sale (not their regular price)... meaning it is a hot deal also (if their regular price was $2, then I would agree with you, but it's not)

Sorry for the misunderstanding.rolomonster wrote: ↑ My post is not directed at Iogo prices. I just stated that sometimes I buy Iogo. To clarify Astro regularly goes on sale for $1.67-$2.00. So 3 for $6 is not a hot deal.
A deal is still a deal... not everybody is aware of all prices and product specials every week at their closest stores, so it was good mentioning it here for those who didn't know; that is what RFD is al about!
