[Walmart] Audio Technica ATH-SR5BK Headphones $49.96 + $5.97 shipping

Audio Technica Closed-back Hi-Res Audio headphones ATH-SR5BK $49.96 + $5.97 shipping.

These compare very favourably to the RFD vaunted MX50s. Kudos to Bargain Barrels. It's a clearance item, so who knows how long the deal will last. Add $0.04 for FREE standard shipping.

Add a one dollar filler item and you should get shipping for free

Poker Playing Cards $.97
Sorry, looks like you have to order at least 3 packs for $2.91 total.
As a filler, you can add something from the grocery section, then cancel it afterward. Worked for me before.

No bass or mid...pass
Do you actually OWN a pair or just quoting baseheads opinions from Amazon? I have the BT version that also can be used as HI-Res wired (same 45mm drivers) and aside the volume being on the lower side (ie not deafening) that have enough bass and certainly a ton of mids and hights (they are praised for that).
So yes, the Beats/Sony 900 crowd will hate them but for the rest and especially at this price, they are a great deal.
To be or not to be...where is the question?

Got these last Dec for $78.

Prob used them 3 times since then.

Not the most comfortable for me - I prefer over ear to on - and the SQ was just ok.

$49 should be the normal price for these.

How comfortable are these for migraine sufferers? (Do they have low clamping force?)

Lets look at the facts shall we?

Frequency Response Charts

1. Audio Technica

2. Bose QC20 (outstanding amazon reviews)

Deduction:

Bose frequency chart shows more response to Bass than the audio technicas.

Now me personally, I like me some bass.
