Sounds like they have NiMH batteries instead of LION.window shopper wrote: ↑Bought the same one two years ago, it no longer charges anymore. I always brought it inside for the winter. When it was new, and fully charged it would last 10 minutes tops.![]()

Would probably be best to buy this in store and get their 3-5$ extended warranty (If they still have warranty). I bought a vacuum with the 3$ warranty and it failed during the warranty period. I got a gift card sent in my email for the full amount within an hour that I called and I didn't have to send the product back.

well considering the battery comments...theDuder wrote: ↑Nice, the B&D electric trimmer has gone down in price again as well http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/black-decke ... 0041458022
I got it at 28, their price gurantee specifically says it doesn't apply to clearance items, probably not worth $8 to deal with Wal-Mart

Get a thicker cable if the trimmer can take it.

Yup. Same here. Bought and returned the same day. Pure garbage. Also it doesn't tell you when it's done charging by turning to green or something.us3r wrote: ↑Bought this last week and the line keeps breaking.

It's always the batteries that go first in these cheaper brands. Same with MasterCard, ryobi, etc. I've experienced this with power tools very often. That's why I just pay more and stick to the higher quality stuff. Not worth the aggravation and over the long run you will save money.
