Pretty meh deals on the S9 devices, basically the same as the Note9 trade in promo a while ago. Hopefully Samsung's/Canadian deals are somewhat better

I gotta ask.. do you guys go across the border shop and incur taxes on the way back ? How much would we get taxed anyways ? Does it potentionally kill the deal

Yes.

Depeneds on what you bring back. HST minimum.

Depends on the deal. Of course it could potentially kill the deal.

I also have my nexus card so can easily waltz across the border but I'd rather die a thousand times than deal with that BF insanity

OP, I'll keep you in my prayers.

I have yet to be taxed when coming back. I guess I got lucky. But for Black Friday, I usually spend the night, so it helps a little bit.

$800 tax free if you stay 2 nights. I don't know if it changed in 2018.

USA retailers will give you real deal sometimes. You still save money. The only problem is you need live close to border to pickup parcels from USA side parcel store. I use Freeport in Champlain.

The video game deals might bode well for Canada. There's gonna be price variation though, I think AC Odyssey is $30 at US Best Buy but $35 in this Walmart flyer.
