[Walmart] Black Friday Cellphone Deals. Pixel 6A / iPhone 11 / A53 $0 monthly / $45 50GB plan

TODAY (NOV 29) IS THE FINAL DAY OF PROMOS. BACK POCKET OFFER ($50 BONUS GC) EXPIRED EOD NOV 28

  • There will be MULTIPLE updates to this pricing as we near Black Friday.
  • This year, if the financing/tab price drops after purchase, carriers will protect price by submitting a form online. (Gift card offers will have to be matched in-store, though, after the busy days)
  • Unless stated otherwise, upfront cost is $0.
  • Offers are typically very similar between The Source, Wireless Wave, Costco, The Mobile Shop, Best Buy, WOW Mobile, and Walmart.
  • Giftcards are available for both new and upgrades.
  • Koodo/Virgin/Fido will have similar offers and Telus/Bell/Rogers will have similar offers
  • Offers are based on in-market plans. Old plans with most carriers will likely not be compatible. (This year, its $55+ with Koodo/Virgin/Fido and $85+ for Telus/Bell/Rogers)
  • If you're with Fido/Rogers/Bell/Virgin, have a rep look at your account, as they will be loading loyalty offers onto them. (Lots of Bell/Virgin customers with $55 25GB or $60 25GB plan)
  • All carriers are waiving the connection fee. It will be credited back on the 2nd or 3rd bill. Make sure the rep adds it as it will require a promo code on some carriers
  • NONE OF THESE PROMOS ARE TRADE UP/BRING IT BACK. I, unfortunately, don't have the time to create an entirely different list for those promos.

Fido/Koodo/Virgin Promos:

  • $20 off for 24 months on the NEW $65 50GB plan
  • Fido only - $40 25GB plan ($60 plan with $20 credit for 24 months)
  • $20 unlimited talk/text plan (no data) compatible with select lower end devices

I'll try my best to keep this updated. The offers aren't that great right now for a bunch of devices but will get better closer to Black Friday. The bring your own device offers shouldn't really change.

Please let me know of any mistakes you notice and ill correct it

Love these topics, every year they come correct.

I know the price of the phones may go down, but what are your thoughts about getting a contract right now, worth waiting a week to see if the $55 plans with a device will have additional credits? or does it seem like itll stick to the $55

Based on previous years I would say wait until BF. Last few years they were offering a $10 monthly credits for 15-24 months.

What's the best way to go about this now? My term ends on the 7th, and I need to get off of this $85 for 30 plan

Thank you for this post!! Looking forward to seeing if anything better comes along for those discounts off plans.

Was really hoping we’d see the $30/$35 plans that Fido/Koodo offered at a few select locations a few week ago to everyone.

I'd wait a little bit longer to see if the $10 off for 15 months will also be available for contracts

Go into any store, give them your number and ask them to check your profile. Fido/Rogers offers plans based on your current plan. They usually offer something far better for a few dollars more if you're on a very low cost plan
Bell/Virgin USUALLY just load the account with a $50 20 GB, $55/60 25GB plan)

Can it be added to an existing Telus account with an EPP plan, while keeping the plan unchanged?

Don't forget you can always take these offers and price match them at The Mobile Shop for PC points at Loblaws or superstore

damn, these deals are getting worse each year. $55 plan minimum is awful. people should attempt a winback deal instead if they can. rogers is doing $35/12GB with $300 device credit.

Is the online form from Walmart or carrier side? Trying to understand if the price protection is limited to Walmart.

Man, Koodo has only 2 offers for Tab Basic! Astonished Face And on a phone most people don't want. That said, if you want to put a phone on Tab just to lock in your monthly fee for 24 months, this could be your ticket with the GC offsetting all or part of the Tab cost,,,and you get a burner phone for drug deals or to sell! lol

I don't have any info on EPP, unfortunately.

Does anyone know if Fido's $25/$30 plans from a couple weeks ago can qualify for any of this?

I signed up for $25/20GB on Oct. 30 (officially, my plan is $55/month with a $30 discount for 12 months). So far, when I sign in to my account online and try to check phone pricing, a pop-up message says I can't upgrade within 30 days of activating, but that may just be the website being auto-basic?

(I'm not 100% sure I'm getting a new phone anyways, I may actually wait another year and save some cash as inflation eats up our family budget. Plus $25 a month is great, so I'm happy to keep paying that for a year. But I'm also happy to know my options in case a super sweet deal comes up!)
I am a current Fido customer.
