[Walmart] Blackweb 175 Watts Power Strip Inverter for Car | $3 | YMMV

Blackweb 175 Watts Power Strip Inverter for Car

Was at Scarborough West Supercentre yesterday night and noticed that it was priced at $9 took pictures but didnt buy buy. Came home checked stocktrack just for fun and price came up $3. So today evening went to Brampton East Supercentre and bought at $3.

Seems to be worth $3 as an extra car accessory.

Many walmart have stock as I write.

Nice find. I've got something like this for when I need to use my laptop in the car and the battery is low. This looks so much cooler and the price can't be beaten.

Yaa and as per the inner leaflet, even 175 is peak output for few minutes then its 150W continuous.
Better be used as an emergency accessory rather than a daily one.

What department was it in? Auto or electronics?

Is this because it would drain your car's battery?

No big deal - your 12v accessory fuse will blow in about 0.1s.

Yea, I don't see any sign of a fan on this one. The 150W inverter I have in the truck gets pretty warm if I use it for any length of time, and it does have a fan.

FYI, you can download the My Walmart app and scan an item while you're actually in the store. It will come up with the till price, rather than the (sometimes incorrect) shelf price / stocktrack price.
Thought so too until last week when I went looking for a few stocktrack items. Found a shelf full of clearance items and only a few showed me a price at all. The others all said not in system. Weird when they're sitting right there on the Walmart shelf in front of me...

Oops, wanted to add that the app is cool when you want to know the price of something you bought and you're sitting at home. Just scan the upc label and it tells you how much its going for in store.
