Yeah I picked up the reciprocating saw as well, definitely feels like a solid tool and has some pretty good reviews on amazon!Injust wrote: ↑ It's not just a single-store clearance, also at a bunch of other locations.
Managed to pick up a reciprocating saw and a jigsaw for just under $110 all in.
The store inventory checker isn't so accurate, both were showing as Out of Stock. It'd be wise to take a look at your local store even if it shows as Out of Stock![]()

I was actually considering the one from Canadian Tire at http://canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/certified ... 8284p.html, which I believe is a Canadian Tire brand?

You made the right choice. Certified is below Mastercraft quality, so I wouldn't touch that brand for any power tool.Injust wrote: ↑ I was actually considering the one from Canadian Tire at http://canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/certified ... 8284p.html, which I believe is a Canadian Tire brand?
But then I found the Bostitch one and went with that instead.

I would take the bostitch over the ryobi's EXCEPT for what appears to be the shift from power tools back to pneumatic tools for the bostitch lineup. which could make the warranties hard to cover by Black and Decker.sylvestor2002 wrote: ↑ don't mean to hijack the thread, but how does the Ryob drill/driveri compare to Bostitch drill ?
