So for example iPhone XR new activation on medium tab would be $55/month (4gb) + $15 phone so $70/month?
Doesn't seem too hot....with only a $50 GC

Can any of my Koodo peeps confirm that any device upgrades that were previously made post August 25th, 2019 will be clawed back for phone credits if I were to upgrade that specific line again this year?

Unless you have a loyalty or migration plan, they'll be just in market plans on the websites (or if you're adding an ADDITIONAL line to Fido/Virgin/Koodo, the second line gets a 2GB bonus)

Virgin is practically the same as Koodo
Bell right now only has the XR on promo, haven't seen anything else yet

It's better for customers who have plans already compatible with tab medium and are renewing or those adding a line to an existing account cause then its $45 for 2GB + 2GB bonus + $15 tab

Yes , after 25th August you have to pay phone credits and tab balance if you cancel before 2 years.

I thought CRTC finds these promotions as an unfair practice to lure in customers.

It's just like any other provider now. Standard 2 year contact weather you're paying it via tab or via a higher monthly rate plan.

Pixel 3a on a tab small, even without a gift card seems decent, if you plan to keep your plan. I would have bought that on my Kodoo $35/5g plan on black Friday vs. buying outright from Google at $399, but it was TAB M at that point so the extra $39 was worth not having the phone credit to deal with.
